Hugo's second chance
I reached out to Joanne to explain our slightly unconventional setup and what kind of dog would suit us. After being turned down elsewhere, I wasn’t expecting much — but Joanne was incredible. She really listened, kept in touch, and matched us with the perfect boy, Hugo.
We adopted him yesterday, and he’s already filled our home with love and energy. It’s clear he’s been well-loved before, and we’re so grateful to give him his new forever home.

Rehome story
Due to unforeseen housing, family and health circumstances we recently had to re home a very much loved dog. Joanne was amazing from the beginning, she listened to everything I said about him and his personality. I had explained Loki didn't really like being left alone and just wanted to be around his human and she literally found him his perfect match, someone he can love forever and go to work with! Joanne and his new owner came to meet us half way and the moment Loki met his new owner I could tell they'd have a very happy life together, Loki had never taken to a man so quickly. Joanne has kept us updated letting us know how well Loki has settled which has made the whole situation so much easier and been very appreciated as she's obviously very busy. I cannot recommend Rescue Paws enough, to have the peace of mind that Loki is going to be so loved, cared for and live his best life really is priceless.
Oreo and the Power of Love & the rescue
I adopted Oreo on the 28-6 -25. Nothing was too much trouble for Joanne and the shelter, as they are on the east coast and I live in North Wales. We met in Coventry, were I was finally introduced to my new pal Oreo. Not only did I get Oreo but I also got his bowls, toys, food, along with his bed and crate. I would thoroughly recommend Rescue Paws to anyone wanting to adopt a rescue dog.
